Eastward-moving thunderstorms arrived in the Cincinnati area late Wednesday and are expected to last overnight into early Thursday morning. The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a tornado watch for virtually all of Greater Cincinnati,

The highest threat is expected Wednesday evening and overnight, with damaging wind gusts of over 70 mph, large hail, and tornadoes all possible. The southwestern part of the area faces a heightened risk for large hail and tornadoes, with a greater than 10% chance of a significant tornado (EF2 or higher) impacting the area.

Tornado sirens are sounding in Cincinnati as severe weather sweeps across Ohio. Tornado Watch has been issued for several counties and town.
