Etihad’s decision to add Atlanta to its list of destinations comes as part of an ambitious growth plan to launch 10 new routes in 2025.

Middle East carrier Etihad Airways has announced 10 new routes as part of an expansion of the international network from its Abu Dhabi base.

Etihad Airways will add Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to its map next year as part of a 10-destination, three-continent expansion unveiled on Monday.

Atlanta is a significant addition to ET's North American network, its fifth in the US. Gulf News cites Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad Airways, saying that ATL is the only nonstop flight from the AUH to the US and that all US-bound flights will benefit from the new US pre-clearance facility in Abu Dhabi.
