It's a First Alert Weather Day as moderate to heavy snow pours over the Front Range. Hardest hit will be the foothills west of Denver with over a foot of snow expected.

Snow is expected to stop by 8 a.m. and temps will climb to 39 before falling to 19 overnight, according to the National Weather Service. A high of 52 and sunny skies are forecast Saturday, followed by temps near 60 on Sunday.

The Denver weather forecast will undergo a major change starting this weekend as temperatures jump well above average.
