Sean Payton and the Broncos have an option as an offensive “Joker.” That’s tight end Evan Engram, who on Wednesday agreed to a two-year deal with Denver. Engram’s agency, Vayner Sports, confirmed the deal.

In Denver, Payton will now fill the role with ex- Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Engram Engram. After visiting the Broncos on Monday and the Los Angeles Chargers on Tuesday, Engram agreed to a two-year deal with Denver on Wednesday, his agent Mike McCartney announced.

The Broncos are starting to build a scary roster that could challenge the Chiefs for the top of the AFC West. If they continue to build out the offense, Bo Nix and Co could become a scary offense, with Engram being a big part of that.
