Dejounte Murray returned to action in the New Orleans Pelicans’ 119-93 loss to Toronto on Wednesday night. His 25 minutes were his first since fracturing his left hand in a season-opening victory over Chicago on Oct. 23.

"If you're not embarrassed and really mad about this, that's a problem," Dejounte Murray said after the Pelicans' 119-93 loss to the struggling Raptors on Wednesday night extended their losing streak to six games.

The New Orleans Pelicans front office prioritized it in the offseason. After acquiring former All-Star Dejounte Murray last summer, New Orleans hoped to shift its identity by adding a point guard who understood the nuances of being a true floor general.
