Indiana football coach Curt Cignetti isn't sweating over the College Football Playoff picture going into season finale against Purdue, here's why:

Indiana football head coach Curt Cignetti agreed to an eight-year contract extension with an average compensation of $8 million, plus a $1 million annual retention bonus, on Nov. 16, 2024, to keep Cignetti in Bloomington through 2032. The Indiana Daily Student received a copy of Cignetti’s memorandum of understanding on Monday.

Indiana snapped a bowl-game drought dating back to 2020 under Cignetti in his first season in Bloomington. The Hoosiers are one of the Big Ten teams never to make the playoff. Only Ohio State, the Michigan Wolverines and Michigan State Spartans have done so.
