The National Weather Service has issued tornado warnings for parts of Ohio as a storm system moving across most of the Midwest makes its way toward Columbus. The tornado warnings were focused on the southwestern part of the state.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The National Weather Service confirmed that at least three EF0 tornadoes touched down in southwest Ohio during storms Sunday evening. All three tornadoes were determined to be weak EF0 tornadoes, which means wind speeds peaked at 85 mph.

The NWS confirmed Tuesday that an EF-0 tornado touched down near Napoleon, Indiana in Ripley County. The NWS confirmed the tornado caused some tree and home damage from about two miles west-southwest of Napoleon to about one mile south of Napoleon.
