Ben Healy became the fourth Irish rider to earn the Tour de France’s yellow jersey on Monday with a gritty ride in the fabled race’s first mountainous stage.

Tadej Pogacar was allowed to recover from a late crash on stage 11 of the Tour de France as Jonas Abrahamsen held on for his first Tour win.

Other cyclists could have taken advantage, but in a show of good sportsmanship, they slowed down and allowed the Slovenian to catch up.
