A$AP Rocky's new job comes on the heels of him being acquitted of two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm in connection to the alleged November of 2021 shooting of A$AP Relli , on Tuesday (Feb. 19). Following a 14-day trial, the jury found Rocky not guilty, despite many jurors not believing the rapper's story.

From celebrating a not guilty verdict in a recent shooting trial to Rihanna‘s 37th birthday, it's been a wild week for A$AP Rocky so far. To pile on even more good news for the Harlem rapper, Rocky makes history by being appointed as the first-ever creative director of Ray-Ban.

Per the eyewear brand, the role will find Rocky taking on the task of bringing "his distinctive vision to Ray-Ban Studios, guiding creative projects and shaping the future of the brand’s image and design.
